Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur is modelled after a raspberry liqueur produced in the Loire Valley of France during the late 17th century. And, you can make delicious cocktail, desserts, and heart shaped sugar cubes with it too. Lovely for a Valentine’s Day Champagne Brunch.
You will need...
Heart Shaped Silicone Tray
Granulated Sugar
Chambord Liqueur
Food Coloring (optional)
Directions...
Place 1/2 cup of sugar in a mixing bowl and 2 table spoons of Chambord. Add food coloring to adjust the color of the sugar. I added 2 drops of red and 1 tiny drop of blue to cut the red and give it a purple tint.
Mix all the ingredients until the sugar resembles wet sand and can be shaped.
Place about one tablespoon of sugar in each heart cavity of the silicone tray. Press the sugar firmly into the mold and let dry for at least 24 hours. Once the sugar has dried, remove from tray and add to champagne, martini, hot or ice tea. Enjoy!
