5 Gift Wrapping Ideas Using Construction Paper
Simple, yet elegant lace spray painted white construction sheet of papers accented by a contrasting teal ribbon and construction paper flower.
Classic black and white with spray painted silver natural gingko leaves. So simple.
The beach was the inspiration for this gift wrapping idea. Using elements found by the sea, natural raffia, sea shell and mother of pearl buttons. I crinkled the blue construction paper to add a little texture and give it a worn look.
Colorful pom poms arranged in a flower brightens up an otherwise boring a plain white gift wrap. You can use any color for this wrap.
This gift wrapping idea is my favorite but it is also the most time consuming. Well worth it though if you are giving a special gift to a wine lover. I had some wine labels left over from my decoupage wine bottles project. I mixed my own mod podge with two parts white glue and one part water and added a touch of red acrylic paint. Then I glued the wine labels onto a red construction sheet in a random pattern. Finally, I brushed the entire sheet with the red mod podge. Let dry, if it starts to bubble as it dries, cover the sheet with wax paper and put a heavy book on top of it. Add a wine colored ribbon and you have a unique wine themed gift wrap.
With the holidays fast approaching, I will be expanding this section to give you more ideas for using construction paper for gift wrapping.
