DIY $5.00
I have taken on the challenge of baking and creating delicious flavor combinations that goes beyond chocolate and vanilla. Above, are my very first macarons (French Martini Macarons) and French Martini Cupcakes.

Naturally, the more I bake, the more displays I will need. And, they have to be cute, uncommon and most importantly, inexpensive.

For $5.00 and some hand on items, I made this elegant, chic and versatile dessert stand. It was so easy and it looks amazing.
Items you will need from Dollar Tree:

9” Pie Pan
12” Pizza Pan
1 Large Pot
1 Medium Pot
Metallic Beads

On Hand Items:

Scissors
Hot Glue Gun and Glue
Spray Paint - any color, I used metallic gold
Industrial or Super Strength Adhesive
Paper Towel
Remove the paper from the pans. Heat up your glue gun and glue on two rows of metallic beads around the top of the pizza and pie pan. Let dry.
Once the beads have completely dried, spray paint both sides of the pans and pots. Make sure coats dry in between spraying so you avoid runny drips.
To add texture to your pots and pans, take a piece of paper towel and scrunch it up. Spray paint a small section of the pan with paint and dab it with the paper towel. Repeat this process on all pots and pans. Let fully dry.
Once all your items are completely dry you are ready to put them together. Glue the medium pot to the bottom of the pie pan and the large pot to the bottom of the pizza pan with the industrial strength adhesive. I used E-600, it works well. Let dry, this will take several hours.
And you are done. I have two dessert stands, one for cookies (the pie pan) and one for cakes or cupcakes (the pizza pan) or you can stack them as well for a variety of desserts, appetizers, table centerpieces with candles, the possibilities are endless.

**PLEASE DO NOT PLACE FOOD DIRECTLY ONTO YOUR CUPCAKE STAND. ALMOST ALL PAINT IS NOT FOOD SAFE AND SHOULD NEVER COME IN CONTACT WITH FOOD. YOU CAN PLACE FOOD ON WAX, PARCHMENT OR BUTCHER PAPER, PAPER PLATE OR ANY OTHER FOOD SAFE SURFACE.
